Hello, High School Seniors and Parents!
High School is beautiful chaos! There's so much to do in just a few short years. A lot of it is fun! And then there's a lot of work. But you are investing in your future! It is worth it! And now is the time to celebrate all that you have accomplished! Let's make your senior portrait session fall into the fun column! It doesn't need to feel stiff, awkward, or like another chore!
Years ago, I had my own senior session with the go-to studio at the time. Fortunately, it yielded some decent pictures. But...it was stressful. I felt like a number, and it certainly didn't feel fun, or like I was celebrating anything. I felt like I was doing everything wrong. And ultimately, I was disappointed. The photos weren't bad! But it's more than that!
There are worse things. Yes...we're talking first world problems. But it doesn't have to be like this. It can be fun and catered to you! And that's what I strive to do for my clients!
I go into every senior portrait session with the intent to capture the joy that is senior year. That's what this is all about! That joy might be found while you are posing confidently downtown. Or maybe on the ball field in uniform, or in an open field surrounded by nature at golden hour. There are many options! But the end goal is to snap the most natural, gorgeous you during one of your most special seasons of life!
What can you expect when you select me as your senior photographer?
Communication & Guidance - What are your concerns? Wondering which outfit looks best? Which shoes to pair with your jeans? Which location will best complement your color choices? Ask away! There's a lot to think about! And putting it all together can be challenging! I am here to help along the way!
Encouragement & Support - Usually, my clients aren't models. But you might be mistaken for one in your photos! There are worse things! I will assist with you as much (or as little) with posing as you desire! No need to stress, I will do all the work!
A fun session - Nothing crazy! But it won't be stiff or awkward. You'll feel gorgeous! Your session is designed around you! If something feels unnatural, we'll move along! Easy peasy! I mean, I might say things like "easy peasy." But you've been warned!
Confidence - You can trust that I aim to make sure you look your absolute best! There's nothing you need to worry about! You won't look like you're trying too hard!
